Have you always wanted to read the entire bible? Did you find it hard to move through it without getting distracted? Well in 2017 I am inviting you to read along with me as I read the entire bible in a year. You will need to set aside 15 minutes a day for your daily reading, that’s 1/96th of your day. But if you aren’t sure you can give 15 minutes a day, then maybe you want to just read the New Testament this year and try to do the Old Testament next year. But I want to encourage you to read with me, each day and finish the entire bible.
There are several ways you can do it. One way is to pick up the One Year Bible, published by Tyndale Press. (ISBN: 978-1414359915) You should be able to pick it up over at the Master’s Mercantile behind the Pep Boys on 100. Or on Amazon.
You can also get the YouVersion app. It is available for Android and iPhone. Or you can do it online at: www.bible.com/reading-plans/60-the-one-year-bible
If you want to get started right away, here are the readings for the first week. I’ll be posting occasionally on the church Facebook page regarding the readings. See you in Genesis and Matthew this week….
